Admittedly it turned out too big and I had to pin the back. My original measurements had changed (yay!) and I have to take it in. But the skirt itself was exactly what I wanted; a voluminous pink midi skirt!
The skirt is one of those things that I'm astonished I was able to do! It's amazing what you can do with a little guidance and effort. I felt like a princess/ ballerina in it which is how every girl should feel. Because of that I officially decided that I did great. I haven't owned a midi skirt before so having one I both designed and can be proud of is just plain amazing. Needless to say I probably won't be making any more but I will definitely be investing in some in the future! xoBCC
