Sea Birds on the California Pacific Coast

By Juliemagerssoulen
Two seagulls rest on a rock next to the turbulent water of the Pacific Ocean.Being from Colorado and over a thousand miles from any ocean, I am always delighted to watch the coastal sea birds. We do have seagulls in Colorado, although we refer to them as terns, and the occasional cormorant ventures to our large lakes too. But watching these birds next to the turbulent roaring Pacific ocean as it crashes and sprays water over jagged rocks is an entirely different experience. I hope that I brought that wonderful day to you with my photography.
