Scarlett Rambles - Moving House

By Katyscarlett @_katyscarlett
Scarlett Rambles - Moving house Last Thursday I moved from the house that I had lived in for the past ten years. The picturesque village that housed around 50 homes, a pub and a church. Other than lots and lots of fields. I met one of my bestest friends in that village, got stuck up a tree, lost in a corn field, met someone through MySpace who also lived in the village (what are the chances?!) but mainly, so of my best memories happened in that village.
Unfortunately I had to work the day of the move, so I had to stay awake til 2am sorting out what stuff was going to my boyfriends house and what was going to my parents, as I will be living with my boyfriend on days I work as its easier to commute from his. It didn't really hit me how much I loved this little hideaway village, until it hit me about 10pm Thursday night when me and Dan returned to the village to capture my cat. He was so distressed and everyone in the pub was saying their goodbyes as if I was about to disappear to the other side of the world. After countless attempts of trying to get Henry in his cat box and an argument that could have resulted in a trespassing charge, I burst into tears. And not just a little tear, but a full on crying-over-the-top sob. Which didn't stop for nearly an hour and a half as every time someone asked me what was the matter the water works returned.
The picture above represents what every room in my new house represents; badly decorated and full of boxes. Blogging as been rather sparse as of late due to this reason, as over the past week or so, I have been gradually preparing myself for the double move. My boyfriends bedroom is now rather cramped with all my stuff now thrown amongst his. I must admit I'm finding it hard to adjust to living in his house, I've either lived with my parents or for a period on my own in Aus, so living with someone else's parents in a whole new experience. Plus everything I want to photograph and blog about is packed up in the unknown, probably never to be found.
I want to apologize for the lack of posts and the sparse amount that will happen over the next month. Please bare with me while I adjust to my new house, new home, new experiences and new life.
I'll be sure to bring you up to date as soon as I can! Hope you are all well!
