Seat belt burn - c/o myself and my mum's car
So yesterday, I'm casually driving along, getting in some driving practice. I drove round a roundabout about a minute from our house when the back end of the car skidded out due to oil on the road. I tried to regain control but unfortunately it was too late and I mounted a verge and ended up in a ditch. Luckily enough, no other cars were involved and there was no serious injuries.
I went to work as usual today but my boss sent me home to get checked out as I wasn't my usual cheery self. My sister took me to the hospital for a thorough examination and thankfully all I have is whiplash, seat belt burn and a couple of pulled muscles in my shoulder and back. I shall return to work tomorrow as I'm pretty new to my job and don't want to seem like a sick note. I'll just be routing paracetamol and ibuprofen every two hours for the next couple of days.
On a more cheerful note, I went bowling on Saturday night and came second. Also watched the film Hanna which is about a young girl who is an assassin, anyone seen it? I'm not sure how I feel about it.. How was your weekend? I'd love to know what you done!
