THE SHOWS Scandal
Scandal, Gigi Hadid and Tyler Posey's Lip Sync BattleScandal is back. Back to it's old self. Sort of. Everything seems to be falling back into place except for the fact that Liv's not sleeping with the Prez. He's sleeping with the chick from Mystic Pizza. One problem. The President can't just sleep with random women without a plan so he unfortunately has to deal with Abby Interuptus. There's even a name for Presidential Hookups: Wild Carding. Who knew? Lots of puppet masters back to their old tricks. Elizabeth is pulling the Susan Ross for President strings. Rowan is of course the master at pulling everyones strings but I think Cyrus is giving him a run for his money. Susan Ross, Mellie Grant or Cyrus's new guy, Francisco Vargas.  Who will be the next President? I don't know how Cyrus, Charlie and Tom were able to throw such an intricate plan together so quickly, but they sure came up with a doozy to bring Vargas into the story didn't they? We got 4 ab alerts in one episode, thanks writers! 2 each from Jake and Fitz. Not sure how Fitz has the time to achieve 6 pack abs, maybe he works out in the Sit Room? Did you have any idea that Max was that guys son? I really thought Charlie and Quinn were babysitting. That's how stupid I am. I mean even Quinn said it. "Who would want YOU to babysit their kid?" Kudos to Disney for that little "Frozen" integration. Well done! Did we know Cyrus was sleeping with Tom? Yes, I think we did, right? Shout OUT to David Rosen for bedding to chicks in a 24 hour period. Impressive work dude.
Lip Sync Battle
Scandal, Gigi Hadid and Tyler Posey's Lip Sync BattleGood one last night!
No idea when this one was filmed. Chrissy still wasn't pregnant and Yolanda Hadid the housewife formerly known as Yolanda Foster was still Yolanda Foster she was still married to her David and she must have been having a good enough day health wise to make to the studio to cheer Gigi on. Gigi went head to head with Tyler "Teen Wolf" Posey. Tyler kicked off the show with Harvey Danger's "Flagpole Sitter" and he was GOOD! Damn Good! Didn't love his shorts or the leg tattoos but he was really, really good. His second choice, A-Ha's "Take On Me" wasn't as strong, even thought he acted out the entire A-Ha MTV video. Pretty incredible since he wasn't even alive in 1985? Tyler's only 24 years old! Would he even remember and MTV that actually aired videos? GIgi's killed during her first performance: She needed no mic for "That's Not My Name" This girl is breathtakingly beautiful. Total girl crush. She surprised us all with her second performance, The Back Street Boys "Larger than Life." AJ and Nick got to dance with her and her black patent leather jump suit. Classic. THE OTHER STUFF

-Fuller House is live on Netflix RIGHT NOW! Did you call in sick? Have you begun the bingefest? Are you planning to? I feel like we've been hearing about this show since the second Netflix gave it the green light and today is the day! No Michelle, but everyone else is BACK!

More Mean Tweets this time to celebrate the Oscars they are off course mean Movie Tweets. Check it out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xr6uNyo8Qgg

! Can you believe that? 246 episodes. Can you believe THAT? Never seen one episode, ever.

-3/5 Jonah Hill hosting SNL with Future as the musical guest and then on 3/12, Ariana Grande will host and perform. I'm hoping that Jonah brings Seth and Ariana brings Frankie. Actually, maybe instead of Seth, Jonah could get Brad Pitt to show up for MoneyballS. Ariana and Frankie could do a Big Brother sketch. I'm sure Lorne and NBC would LOVE that!

-TV Everywhere is growing but it's still not anywhere close to where Netflix is. TV Everywhere is when you use a networks App, authenticate and view. At the end of 2015, the share of pay-TV households that signed in to TV Everywhere jumped from the 11-14% range at the beginning of 2015 to 17.4 percent by the end of the year.  Netflix is still in the lead big time with 40% of household logging in.

-Just realized that while I was on vacation, the FCC actually did something worth talking about a bit. Consumers will soon be able to choose their own set top boxes from a number of 3rd party options. I'm a Tivo owner (and lover) and won't be taking advantage of any of these new options but for those of you who have been stuck using Cablevision's horrible DVR now you're in luck!  What this means is that instead of having to rent the box your cable company forces you to rent, you will have choices and options  that supposedly will cost you all a lot less money. There's only one problem. Do we even need a set top box anymore? There's a lot to flesh out but I"m betting Google, Apple, Facebook and Amazon will all be at the forefront to own a piece of this pie and all the data that comes with it. This is one to watch big time.

-Snapchat facts:

  • 7 BILLION views a day
  • Users share 9000 photos per second
  • The bigges stars on Snapchat can make $100,000 a week!
-How many suitcases do you need to carry $99 million in cash? I wonder if the Scripps Network got a discount from the Travel Channel to purchase the suitcases needed to bring over the dough to Cox Communications for payment in full? Clever though, right?

Friday's Oscar Trivia Question: Which one of these movies has won the Best Picture Oscar? Name the actor who has starred in all of them. Apollo 13, Forrest Gump, Saving Private Ryan, Captain Phillips  & The Green Mile
