Give me a little gingham, a little peplum, and some scallops and we're in business (sentence adapted from Devil Wears Prada...all of you obsessed with the movie totally get where I'm coming from.)
I've been waiting all winter to seriously break out all of my patterned Lilly pieces and until now I haven't been able to wear them because of this AWFUL cold weather. I honestly can't wait until I move further south. I know that it won't be a whole lot of difference but I really can't deal with 15 degree days and snow anymore. It just isn't going to be a thing. Classes are OFFICIALLY done for the semester which means all of my "above the knee" looks can come out and play. Liberty has a dress code so that prevents me from wearing all my cute shorts/skirts/ and of course dresses to campus. However, it definitely keeps the campus a little classier because I shudder to think what I would see if that rule wasn't around. It's been a roller coaster of a school year but I'm ready to get my second semester of senior year done with in December and be on my way to the next chapter of my life. It's kind of a weird thing, right? All of a sudden, you aren't that awkward little middle schooler telling everyone you were going to work in fashion one day...you're about to be a college graduate REALLY making that happen! I'm not going to get deep in this post because I've had some pretty sentimental and deep posts lately and I think y'all could use a break. Happy (almost) summer break! xoBCCLifestyle Magazine
