I've been meaning to introduce you to the newest addition to the Doncaster household for a while now. Harvey is an American Bulldog and not even a year old yet. Yep, Not even 1!
You can see from the photo's, he's already a bit of a big beast, but honestly he's the softest big puppy I've ever met! & his bark is actually hilarious.. When the door is shut and he barks, I swear he could pass for a toy dog, he's so high pitched.
He's also not quite out of his wobbly legged puppy phase yet. He adorably walks a few steps & then looses his balance, usually ending in cups of tea or anything sat on the coffee table being flung across the room by his whopping tail!
Before I met Creature & his family, I have to admit, I was really quite scared of large Bull breeds. I'd been scared witless by a bullmastiff when I was younger and something about them from then on made me quite nervous.
But living in a house last summer that housed kennel upon kennel of Dogue de Bordeux, Mastiffs and Bulldogs I'm pretty much over my fear & have fell in love with the beasts! Harv is such a cutie & unbelievably gentle, the difference in the way he plays with different people is amazing, he never tugs on his toys too hard when I'm playing yet he knows with Creature he can be slightly more rough. - Very clever puppy pooch!
