Saumya in the City- Tysons Corner Shopping Center

Welcome back to yet another blog post of my series "SAUMYA IN THE CITY". Unlike my first post of the series, today's feature happens to be a shopping mall. Popularly known as Tysons corner, Tysons corner center is the younger sister of Tysons Galleria that is more upscale and houses all the high end designer brands, Gucci, Henri Bendel, Louis Vuitton, and Saks to name a few.
Locate in the heart of Virginia, Tysons corner center is no less. It is one of the best malls in the DMV area, I will have to say.  It has been my go-to mall for years and has now become my family's favorite. It is like a one stop shop for all your shopping, food and family entertainment.

When at Tysons corner, be prepared to get wowed and don't be surprised if you end up spending more that your budget. With fashion stores like Maxwell, Victoria's Secret, Zara, Express, Ann taylor and a lot more, and their even fancier window display will are sure to get lured in and when you are in a store, no matter how hard you resist, you end up buying something. This is not you or me, that's just nature of the beast. I can spend an entire day here shopping, eating, having fun at the kids zone or catching up your favorite movie at AMC theatre, it would still feel short owing to how big the mall is. So I always go there with a plan and a list of stores to visit.

The mall has two food courts and a bunch of restaurants across the mall. My favorites have to be:

• Shilla Bakery 

Additionally the mall has an outdoor courtyard with hotels and restaurants circling this outdoor space. On a good weather day you would see people sitting outside eating, chiot-chattinh, reading or just chilling by the grass. So the next time you are in Virginia you got to check out this shopper's paradise.
