Satan

Introduction Demon is a spirit that causes harm. Christians believe that these spirits serve Satan.  
Pre-adamic age
Satan was before an archangel Lucifer. Other archangels are Gabriel, Michael, etc. Each archangel has angels under him. After creating the earth Lucifer was made ruler of the earth. He along with his angels took care of the earth. As time passed by Lucifer became proud and rebelled against God. He somehow convinced angels under him to join the rebellion. He was defeated. He and his angels were thrown down to earth. All angels who supported Satan became demons. God in anger damaged the earth. But later he recreated earth in six days. On sixth day he created human beings. Satan still rules this earth. But he will be soon overthrown by Jesus, who will be new world ruler.

How you have fallen from heaven, morning star, son of the dawn! How you are cut down to the ground, who laid the nations low! You said in your heart, “I will ascend into heaven! I will exalt my throne above the stars of God! I will sit on the mountain of assembly, in the far north! I will ascend above the heights of the clouds! I will make myself like the Most High!” Isisah 14: 12-14
”Son of man, take up a lamentation over the king of Tyre, and tell him, ‘Thus says the Lord GOD: “You seal up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty. You were in Eden, the garden of God; every precious stone adorned you: ruby, topaz, emerald, chrysolite, onyx, jasper, sapphirea, urquoise, and beryl. Gold work of tambourines and of pipes was in you. In the day that you were created they were prepared. You were the anointed cherub who covers: and I set you, so that you were on the holy mountain of God; you have walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire. You were perfect in your ways from the day that you were created, until unrighteousness was found in you. Ezekiel 28: 12-15
Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. 1 Peter 5:8
And no wonder, for even Satan masquerades as an angel of light. It is no great thing therefore if his servants also masquerade as servants of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works. 2 Corinthians 11: 14-15
How to overcome Satan and his forces?
To overcome Satan and his forces we must submit ourselves to God. We must accept Bible teaching.
You are of God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is he who is in you (Jesus) than he who is in the world (Satan). 1John 4:4
