Senior politician Sardar Asif Ahmed Ali has decided to contest the upcoming elections as an independent candidate after Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf given ticket from the Kasur constituency to Khurshid Mahmud Kasuri.
Sardar Asif accused PTI chief Imran of betraying him, saying if he not lied with him from the beginning, he wouldn’t have any objection.
“Imran Khan told me five times that those leaders who had quit assembly seats after joining PTI would contest elections on behalf of the party from their respective constituencies,” he said.
Sardar Asif claimed that that PTI chief was with him till 23rd March but the ticket was given to Khurshid Kasuri, who was with a dictator (Pervez Musharraf).
He further said that he will contest elections as an independent candidate from two Kasur constituencies of Kasur, NA-139 and NA-140.
