I've been trying out a few samples recently and thought why not give some little reviews and whether I'd go for the full size product or not. The first of these samples was the Nivea Daily Essentials Express Hydration Primer which I'd been eyeing up after hearing about the affordable primer. My foundation just doesn't seem to stay on these days and I was really hoping that this primer would fix the problem, but unfortunately it didn't make very much difference. I'm sure I got this sample through the Nivea website and was sent one sachet with a fair amount of product. My skin felt lovely after applying the primer but at the end of the day it just didn't make any difference to the staying power of my make-up during the day which was disappointing. For that reason I won't be purchasing a full size of the primer.
The second sample I have been trying is the Maybelline Fit Me Foundation which I have been absolutely loving. Again I think I applied for this through the Maybelline website and was able to choose the right shade which was great as I really do believe it is a fab match for my skin tone. You get a very generous 10ml of product which I'm still in the process of using and have definitely been enjoying the experience. I've found this foundation to leave a lovely finish on the skin, work well with dry areas and look very natural which is always a plus. It gives fairly light coverage but has been just enough for me during the winter months without feeling like your face is caked in makeup, and it also has a pleasant smell. There's still time to sign up for a sample of the Fit Me foundation and you can do that here. All in all I can definitely see myself buying a full size bottle of this foundation although that won't be happening until I use up some of the others in my drawer.
Have you tried either of these products?
