It's fun to have a sailing simulation app on your smart phone or tablet when you want to kill some time, play a sail race game, or teach someone the fundamentals of sailing. Dozens are now available for both Apple and Android devices. Today I played around with a another new one, called simply Sailboat, which I found rather disappointing - at least in contrast to some others out there.
