Kareena Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan on their Sangeet ceremony
After dating for almost five years celebrity lovebirds Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor are finally set to tie the knot on Tuesday. The much-anticipated nuptial ceremony will held at the Mumbai’s iconic Taj Palace hotel.
“The wedding is taking place tomorrow and then we will have a reception in Delhi later on. It is a very joyous moment for our family,” Kareena Kapoor’s uncle, actor Rishi Kapoor, told the media persons.
The festivities of the celebrity wedding have already begun and after exchanging wedding vows two of Bollywood high-profile celebrities will become spouses.
Sangeet ceremony of the couple-to-be was held on Sunday in Mumbai at Kareena’s Bandra residence. The 32-year-old actress sported an amazing traditional orange dress with a golden blouse, while 42-year-old Saif was seen in a full white dress.
Sangeet ceremony of Khan and Kareena Kapoor was a totally private affair and only close relatives and friend of both the celebrities were invited.
According to sources , the marriage ceremony will be a quite affair attended only by immediate relatives and pals. It will be followed by a reception on Oct. 18 in New Delhi. While Kareena Kapoor is said to be sporting Saif’s grandmother’s traditional gharara, Saif will wear an achkan designed by Raghuvendra Rathore.
This is going to be Kreena Kapoor’s first and Saif Ali Khan’s second marriage. Saif, the Nawab of Pataudi and a billionaire owning number of business conglomerates; was previously married to actress Amrita Singh and has two kids with her. Both separated in 2004.
