A Note from Paula & Alex, An Adoptive Family through International Adoption: My son Alex, now aged 12, was adopted from Russia and has written a kids cookbook of Russian recipes. All of the proceeds from the sale of the book will go to The Children of Russia Fund, a registered charity, set up by adopters in Ireland to help children in Russian orphanages who will not be adopted.

A cookbook full of delicious recipes, new and old, that have been tried and tested by the author, Alex, aged 12 years old. Alex was born in Russia. He has a great passion for cooking and love cooking dishes from other countries, especially Russia.

About The Children of Russia Fund

Funded in January 2001 the Children of Russia Fund was established with the assistance of families who have adopted children from Russia. They have come together with their friends to support children left without parental care in orphanages who for legal reasons are unavailable for adoption.

The aim of the Children of Russia Fund is to provide for the relief of poverty and advance the education of children left without parental care who are long term residents of Russian orphanages through the provision of improved living conditions, additional educational facilities and ongoing financial and practical support to enable and empower children leaving the orphanages integrate fully into Society.
