So after nearly six…weeks…of no surf, I’m off to the west country, Cornwall this time, Polzeath beach to be exact for the long bank holiday weekend. I’m not going solo on this trip, going with my mate Chris. This dyed in the wool bodyboarder is going to try Stand up surfing! Don’t worry though, that will only take up a small portion of my time, I’m a booger through and through! I’ve never surfed Polzeath before, but apparently it has a nice little wedge wave that I can’t wait to play with!
As an added bonus, that weekend is the famous “Run to the Sun” weekend, so Cornwall will be rammed of people looking for a good weekend. So it will a weekend of “surf hard, play hard”.
Surfing takes you places people, sometimes places you’d never imagine!
