First Ottawa Bluesfest kept us guessing the week leading up to the announcement of their 20th Anniversary Line-up so it should come as no surprise that Ottawa Folkfest would do the same. The only difference is that Ottawa Folkfest was kinder and revealed a few of their acts shortly after their respective clues were posted online. Today the remaining acts were announced completing a lineup worth getting excited over.
Lorde
Serena Ryder
Within the last few weeks we already wrote that Lorde and Serena Ryder had been confirmed for the event some of the notables added today include The Gaslight Anthem, Blues Traveler, Blue Rodeo and Foster the People. If you’ve ever been to Ottawa Bluesfest there’s a good chance you’ve seen The Noisy Locomotive busking after the event, they will be on the bill this year as well.
The Wiggles
Fred Penner
If you have young kids they will no doubt enjoy The Wiggles and Fred Penner, making this the most family friendly line-up we’ve seen yet this year.
