Former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney will embark
on a three-day tour of New Hampshire next week.

Mitt Romney will spend several days next week touring New Hampshire while the other Republican presidential hopefuls spend time in Iowa ahead of the caucus, which is due to take place on Jan. 3.
The former Massachusetts governor will take part in a three-day bus tour and visit a total of nine towns. Mr. Romney’s decision is likely to have been prompted by his poor performance in the Granite State back in 2008. Indeed, during his last presidential campaign, the former governor dedicated a lot of time and money to Iowa. After taking the second place in both states, his chances of winning the presidency were greatly diminished.
Mr. Romney’s campaign team is believed to have contacted over 200,000 voters so far in the state of New Hampshire and spent around $375,000 on advertising since the beginning of December.
On Tuesday, he told New Hampshire voters that he fully opposed President Barack Obama‘s uncontrolled spending as well as his pursuit of an “entitlement society”.
He reminded his audience that “President Barack Obama has reversed John Kennedy’s call for sacrifice” and that “He would have Americans ask, ‘What can the country do for you?’”
According to the latest New Hampshire survey conducted by Public Policy Polling between Dec. 16 and Dec. 18, Mr. Romney was in the lead with 35 percent of the votes. His closest competitor, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, was lagging 18 percentage points behind.
