I made these recently for a bake sale, they are so quick and simple! You’ll need:
125g soft butter
150g milk chocolate, chopped
150g dark chocolate, chopped
3 tbsp golden syrup
100g rich tea biscuits, roughly crushed
50g chopped almonds
50g dried cranberries
100g mini marshmallows
1. Put the butter, chocolate and golden syrup into a saucepan over a low heat and stir occasionally until fully melted.
2. Remove from the heat and allow to cool slightly. When you can stick a finger into the mixture without burning yourself.
3. Add the fruit, nuts, biscuits and marshmallows and stir well.
4. Transfer to a disposable 24 inch foil tray and put in the fridge overnight or at least 2 hours.
5. The next day remove from the tray and slice into bars.
