Rob Pattinson new face of Dior Homme Fragance, photographed by American artist Nan Goldin and filmed by French director Romain Gavras, theTwilight actor’s print and television campaigns are slated to drop in September 2013. According to USA Today, the fashion house confirmed the news on Wednesday. Dior stated , the print campaign will break from Sept. 1 in a range of magazine titles for women and men, along with daily newspapers. The “Twilight” heartthrob joins an illustrious list of celebrity ambassadors for Dior beauty products, that includes Charlize Theron, Natalie Portman, Eva Herzigova and Alain Delon. Model Jamie Dornan and actor Jude Law have also fronted Dior Homme scents.

A statement from Dior reads: “The House of Dior is delighted to announce that actor Robert Pattinson is to be the new face of Dior Homme fragrance.” It goes on to praise Pattinson’s acting career and reveals that the new campaign will “broadcast exclusively in Europe (except UK) and Asia (except China and Japan).
The Internet first caught wind of this partnership in March when talk swelled that Pattinson had signed a $12 million deal with the brand, one that would include “sexually explicit” ads. No word yet on when those campaigns will hit, but they will be covered well and truly by the many fans of Pattinson.

Dior rounded off their big announcement by gushing over the actor’s CV to date, revealing Rob’s talents that brought him to their attention. ”Since his first notable role in 2005 in the fourth Harry Potter sequel, film star Robert Pattinson has more recently come to be known through his role in the runway box office success, The Twilight Saga,” the statement reads. ”he has since proven te scope of his acting talents by choosing films as varied as Remember Me by Allen Coulter, Water For Elephants by Francis Lawrence, in which he starred alongside Reese Witherspoon, or with his role as Bel-Ami, the famous Maupassant character.
