Roam by The B-52′s.

The B-52′s are one of those groups that can be easily identified by their vocals. The two female vocalists, Kate Pierson and Cindy Wilson, definitely have a sound that is unmistakable. I also like their vintage style, an example can be seen above in the featured live performance.

Roam was released as the band’s fourth single in January of 1990 from their fifth album, Cosmic Thing. It went to #3 on Billboard’s Hot 100 that same month. By the end of that year, it was still on the charts making #40. It went to #17 on the UK Singles Chart.

Interestingly enough, there is no information on the lyrics but fans have their own theories. The group was known to include a lot of sexual references in their songs but in a very subtle way. This one included. Most people don’t even pay attention though because their songs always have an upbeat feel and well, they don’t care what it’s about!

So I’m going to leave it to you to make your own theory!
