Hello Fashionistas!! I hope all is well and that everyone is staying fabulous as usual . Over the last two weeks …count them… two weeks, I have been on a fashion world wind. Fresh off the hills of Miami Beach International Fashion Week was the Lucky Brand Jeans event then Rip the Runway . You should be familiar with BET’s Rip the Runway , but we are not talking about BET’S Annual show. We are talking about Icons Entertainment take on Rip the Runway .
Rip the Runway featured some of Birmingham’s hottest trends in fashion and what’s next for the Summer 2012. The show was divided into two parts . With presentations from one of my favorite boutiques: Iconz , and a slew of other vendors , stylist and fashion lovers . We saw Spring /Summer apparel from City Gear , Dr. Denim, Purse Party, IamFashun,ISPOT,Trends and many more.
A portion of the show was based on one of the baddest stylist coming out of Birmingham this year . Who is this stylist you ask , Ms Tasha Dancy and her” High Couture” shoe wear . Fierce honey ! The start of her presentation where the babies in their custom flats . A must have for the Spring and Summer seasons.
The audience was very stylish as well. If you looked around the room you saw fashion and glam from wall to wall.
