Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer, £5.49
You might remember that I was a huge fan of the Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation when it was released last year, but after I finished the bottle I did my usual and moved on to something else. Its great coverage and dewy looking finish completely won me over and had my skin looking like it was in great condition, so of course when I spotted the concealer I had to give it a try. Stressing over uni work has left me with dark circles under my eyes and a breakout of spots around my cheeks and chin, so a concealer with good coverage is a must for me right now! Thankfully the Wake Me Up concealer gives a medium to high coverage without looking cakey on the skin which means that dark circles and spots are a thing of the past.
I have the concealer in the lightest shade Ivory (#010), and while it's a little too dark for my skintone it's easy enough to blend it out and then pop a little foundation over the top. The concealer also features a little of the signature wake me up 'sparkle' that the foundation's formula included in order to wake the skin up and make it appear brighter. While putting glitter on your face isn't exactly something I fancy doing, the concealer's sparkle is very sublte and fortunately doesn't leave your dark circles looking like disco-balls.
Another thing I'm loving is the packaging as I was already a fan of the foundation's orange top which certainly made it stand out on shop shelves. It's something different and definitely draws the eye in, and although it's the standard concealer bottle shape it is still great a great size for keeping in your makeup bag and spotting easily due to the orange lid.
All in all I've been loving this concealer and would definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for a concealer with great coverage which of course is very affordable.
