Yes, news broke today that Rihanna will design a collection for the high street store. The singer who is intent on making a name for herself in the fashion industry - her debut TV show 'Styled to Rock' is set to air next month, will begin working with River Island in time to release a Spring/Summer 2013 capsule collection. What do you think of Rihanna's latest venture? Will you be buying into the line?
Speculation first came earlier in the year when Ri was spotted visiting River Island HQ in February (below left) before telling Ryan Seacrest she was planning a debut fashion line. She then started up the rumours again after being spotted in a pair of River Island hot pants (above) and posing on Instagram in a River Island tee (below right) - if that's not evidence enough, I don't know what is!
The ever-changing style of Rihanna is something I cannot predict, but if her current style is anything to go by expect lots of baseball caps, denim, hot-pants, sneakers and trashy 'gold' jewelry. I'll keep you posted...
See what River Island have to say about the collab after the jump

Rihanna is a style icon, from street to chic she enjoys her fashion. As soon as we started to work together we knew this was a perfect fit. Rihanna will be designing the collection and we will be sharing our fashion experience with her to develop a range her fans will love."
