Back in 2010, my path crossed with Rhiannon and Tom in Europe as we all toured from country to country. In getting to know the Australian couple, Tom revealed to me that he was going to be proposing to Rhiannon in Venice, Italy. I told him I was a wedding photographer and helped him arrange a pretend “portfolio” photoshoot to throw Rhiannon off, and at the end of our shoot, Tom got down on his knee to ask her to spend forever with him. Not only was it exciting to be their to document their Venetian proposal, it was even more exciting to be asked to also document their wedding in Adelaide, Australia.
Rhiannon, who is obsessed with purple, and Tom, who is obsessed with green, share such a fun laugh together unlike any I’ve seen between a couple. When they laugh, you can tell it fills their whole heart and soul, and that everything in the world is right when they are looking into each others eyes. We had a blast celebrating their special day, and here’s some of our favorites from their Aussie wedding day!
