Met Ball 2015 was the usual mix of the stars who played it safe with classic couture pieces and the ones who were there to make a splash on the red carpet. I wish more celebrities took risks with their dresses and really embraced the theme. Met Ball 2015 theme was China: Through the Looking Glass. Here are my picks whom I though embodied the theme best. JLo was like a stunning couture dragon in her sheer red gown whilst Rhianna went for the more over the top look with the stunning ensemble. (I know her gown raised a lot of eye brows and many likened her cape to scrambled eggs…however- I like the bold statement. Be adventurous! This is couture’s big night!) Beyoncé went…well, nearly naked and looked all the more glamorous for it. Kim Kardashian had the same idea but was surprisingly more covered up than Beyoncé in her romantic white and sheer gown. Kate Hudson and Anne Hathaway both went for gold, but it was the headpieces that really made the dresses. Anne’s hood and Kate’s golden hair piece really gave the gowns oriental flair. The red carpet is always an event and Met Ball 2015 was no exception!
