Revlon - Girly

By Marijonails @marijonails
Hi fellow nail polish lovers!!
Today I have a polish that I wanted from the moment I saw pictures of it.  I first saw bottle shots of Revlon Girly on Instagram and automatically started hunting for it.  It was supposedly a Walmart release, but I eventually found it at Rite Aid and was the happiest girl when I did.  Revlon always has me on the hunt.  First  it was Royal Cloak (happy dance in Duane Reade when I finally got it), then Whimsical (yet another happy dance in Duane Reade, lol).
Girly is a sheer pink jelly base with purple and pink hex glitter and microglitter.  It has a great formula and applies flawlessly.  Here I used three coats with no base or top coat.

As you can see, there was still VNL after three coats, but it's still really pretty on its own.
I also tried Girly with a tape manicure.  I used Brucci Heidi's Glow as a base.  I then taped off each nail diagonally and added Girly.

Unfortunately, on my ring and middle finger the polish wasn't as dry as I thought, so the tape didn't peel off all the way.  I tried to remove it, but it would have lifted the polish.  Because I didn't have the time or energy, I added extra top coat hoping it would hide the tape.  It was still visible though.

Though this mani didn't come off as neatly as I wanted, I really love the combo of Girly with Heidi's Glow.  It's so pretty!
What do you guys think of Girly?  Are you as in love with it as I am?
