Revlon Colorstay Foundation

Revlon Colorstay Foundation"ColorStay Makeup provides lightweight comfort, so you feel like you’re not wearing makeup. Looks fresh for up to 16 hours"
I've recently been raving about the Revlon Nearly Naked foundation (reviewed here) and for good reason too as it's the perfect lighter coverage foundation for spring and summer time. Unfortunately though, my skin is currently going through a bad phase with quite a few sore breakouts on my chin and cheeks, so it really isn't in the best condition for lighter coverage foundation. I blame dissertation stress and comfort eating for these breakouts. To combat this I've been reaching for my other new favorite foundation, the famous Revlon Colorstay which definitely gives you a fuller coverage. I'd heard so much about this foundation but always held back because of its price, but when I was out doing some birthday shopping back in February I thought it was about time I finally gave it a go. I went for the lightest shade (110 Ivory) and once again it is a great match for my very pale skin which is always a massive plus! Just like the Nearly Naked foundation, the bottle doesn't come with a pump although I've now gotten used to pouring out a good amount so there isn't any product going to waste. I also went with the normal/dry skin version as my skin is mainly on the dry side, although I do tend to get an oily t-zone when the weather is a bit nicer which can be quickly sorted with a setting powder.  I have to say that I can absolutely agree with that this foundation is full coverage as it covers up a multitude of bad areas, although it still manages to feel like you're not caked in makeup which is great. My biggest worry was that the foundation would look very obvious and caked on your skin but I tend to buff this foundation in with my Real Techniques Buffing Brush which leaves my skin looking very much covered but still on the natural side. I would agree that this foundation is long lasting as it's still very much in place at the end of a working day, with blemishes and imperfections still hidden. This foundation also contains SPF 15 which is perfect for the summertime as you always need to be protecting your skin from the sun, although be warned that you could be left with a ghost-face if you're involved in flash photography.  All in all, I'm very impressed with the Revlon Colorstay foundation and wish I'd taken the plunge sooner! Colorstay is normally priced at £12.49 which originally put me off as it's on the expensive side for a 'drugstore' foundation, but now that I've tried it I definitely think that it's worth the money. I now alternate between my Revlon Nearly Naked and Colorstay foundation depending on the condition of my skin so I'm pretty much set for the summer now, hurrah! Are you a fan of the Revlon Colorstay or interested in trying it?
