Monday-Tuesday, in A Nous Paris, Jerome Berger reviewed and gave 2/5 dots to the previously mentioned Le Verre Vole sur Mer in the 10th and his colleague Philippe Toinard reviewed and gave 2/5 to the Café Bouillu, 9, rue de la Medicine in the 6th, 01.46.34.19.41, open 7/7 with a 17 E lunch formula, a la carte 30-45 E for items such as beef carpaccio, sautéed supions and cheesecake.
Tuesday in Le Fooding, there was a review of the Flacon in Bordeaux.
Wednesday in Figaroscope, Emmanuel Rubin’s Hache Menu reviewed the Asian Tong Yen.  He then reviewed 5 new places, awarding an unusual 4 hearts to the Japanese Sushi Okuda in the 8th.  He judged 3 places as worthy of 2-hearts: the well-known Pharamond where one can get the last tripes in Paris, the bar/BBQ place Flesh, 25, rue de Douai in the 9th, 01.42.81.21.93, closed Sundays & Mondays, with lunch menus at 9.50, 12.50 and 14.50 & 25-30 E a la carte for items such as smoked brisket, chicken thigh and roast cord, and the butcher/bistrot Persille, 66, rue du Chevaleret in the 13th, 01.45.82.98.96, open only at lunch save Sundays, where one can get grilled pork and burgers for about 20 E.  One heart went to Mure in the 2nd.

Wednesday, also, Heidi Ellison in Paris Update reviewed very positively Matière à, 15, rue Marie-et-Louise in the 10th, closed Saturday lunch and Sundays, 09.83.07.37.85, menus at 42 E for items such as raviolis of steak & foie gras, daurade and pumpkin dessert.
