Wednesday in Figaroscope, in Emmanuel Rubin’s Hache Menu he reviewed the well-known Beaujolaian resto - Chez Fred, coordinates well-known, which is under new management by the folks who brought us Le Bistrot de Paris, Chez Rene, and Georges (Rue Mail) and he then reviewed his 5 new places, awarding 3 hearts to AG, 2, rue Clement in the 6th, 01.43.25.77.66, closed Sundays, which for 22 and 29 at lunch and 40 E at dinner serves items such as custacean raviolis, milk-fed pork and an updated Mont Blanc. Garnering 2/5 hearts were Leda, 12, rue Cygne in the 1st, 01.42.36.83.88, open 7/7, which for 13.50, 15 and 17 E at lunch weekdays and dinner at 27 E serves items such as daurade tartare and free-range chicken and the Paris-Yankee John Viande, 7bis rue de Paradis in the 10th, 01.47.70.38.06, closed Saturday lunch and Sunday dinner serving poached eggs and burgers for 30-35 E. Getting one heart each were the charcut-fromage place Pasdeloup in the 11th and the sandwicherie Bagnard in the 2nd.
