Monday-Tuesday, in A Nous Paris, Philippe Toinard gave 3/5 dots to Louis, 23, rue de la Victoire in the 9th, 01.55.07.86.52, closed weekends with menus at 32 (lunch) and 48 E, containing items such as langoustine bisque, foie gras raviolis and rose veal; and Jerome Berger reviewed and gave the same to the previously mentioned Ellsworth in the 1st
Tuesday in Le Fooding, they reviewed the Asian/Korean Hero in the 2nd.
In Figaroscope this Wednesday, Emmanuel Rubin’s Hache Menu was all about their guest editor (Alex Lutz humorist/philosopher)’s favorite place – Frenchie to Go in the 2nd
Then he followed with his usual five reviews, giving 3 hearts to the Family Li a Chinese restaurant in the 8th. Two places merited two hearts – the shellfish oriented Huitrerie, 2, rue Mademoiselle in the 15th, 01.40.60.65.65, closed Sundays, which has a 16 E lunch formula, but a carte running 20-50 E depending and the Korean Mee in the 1st. Getting one heart each were La Maison Bleue in the 10th and King Marcel in the 2nd.

Thursday in L’Express, Charles Patin O’Coohoon reviewed the previously mentioned Zebulon in the 1st and the Japanese Ten in the 1st; Mina Soundiram reviewed four hot night spots – the Grand Pigalle Hotel, Star Night Palace, L’entrée des Artistes Pigalle and Hero; and Francois Regis Gaudry reviewed the aforementioned Lucas Carton in the 8th.
Saturday in Le Figaro Alice Bosio and Colette Monsat detailed the restaurants soon to open or reopen after renovations:

And Sunday in the JDD, Robert Melcher reviewed three places – Les Tablettes (apparently because it’s no longer of Les Tablettes de Jean-Louis Nomicos, in any case it rated a 9/10; then returned to Chez Andre (7/10) in the 8th (open since 1936) and the Grand Café Capucines (7/10) also not born yesterday but open 24/24 7/7 if that’s what you need, in the 9th. In an interesting article on the “new generation of bistrotiers”, Charlotte Langrand listed the folks, now stars, coming out of Alain Passard’s Arpege – Chartier (Saturne), Grebaut (Septime), Levha (Servan), Toutain (his eponymous place), Colagreco (Mirazur in Menton) and Cordonnier (Gare au Gorille). [Editorial comment; good teachers enjoy their students going farther than they did, as do good parents – Bravo Alain!] In the jdd femina J.Rablat-Tull reviewed the previously mentioned Jeremie in the 16th.
