Review: Myra VitaGlow Tinted Facial Moisturizer

By Trierton @MISC_blog
I've been on the lookout for a light foundation since my current foundation isn't working for me. Thank goodness I saw a post by BlessMyBag about the Myra Vitaglow Tinted Facial Moisturizer in Ivory (~PHP 150).Review: Myra VitaGlow Tinted Facial Moisturizer* SPF 15* Vitamin e enriched* Hypo-allergenic* Dermatologist-tested
I've actually tried this before in the shade Beige (there are only two shades) and I didn't like the color on me so I forgot about it. But when I saw the post, I thought I could give it another try in the Ivory shade. Thank goodness I did.

TextureReview: Myra VitaGlow Tinted Facial Moisturizer
The texture is quite watery so you have to shake it before use. But it's not too watery that it would spill once you open the tube. I apply this with fingers since I've found that using a brush applies too much and gives an unattractive effect, while using a sponge just wastes product.

It dries into a powdery texture. Coverage is light to medium so you still need concealer for dark spots. Since I don't use this for full coverage, I don't pay attention to its longevity that much and I have noticed that the effect stays on for a couple of hours (my skin is combination-oily).As for the moisturizing effect, my face doesn't really dry that much because of its skin type so I can't attest to the product's moisturizing properties.

If you can see above, the shimmers are noticeable when up-close but believe me, it's just like the Revlon Photoready Liquid Foundation; the shimmers help to give that nearly flawless look at normal range. I wouldn't count on this being that photo-ready, though, since it might still give a white cast because of the SPF.
Points for ImprovementI don't have any significant complaints about this product. I can handle the shimmers (even up-close), I like the texture and weight, and the effect makes up for the coverage (after all, it's just a tinted moisturizer).
There you go. Hope that helped.
