Review // Kim Kardashian: Hollywood
The Kim Kardashian: Hollywood is probably the hottest game right now amongst many young women. Even YouTube stars from the likes of Tyler Oakley, Smosh, Shane Dawson etc. The game is currently at 32 on the Android Play market and has been rated at 4 and a half stars with over a million downloads. No wonder the game is so addicting especially if you enjoy the Dash girls show.
The idea of the game is to live the model life although you're probably playing the game in your snuggly bed under the duvet cover and eating far too much junk food but hey ho! You get to create your own avatar and kustomise it to your taste (Kardashian references, how hip am I?). You're spotted by Kim Kardashian herself when she stumbles into your shop after a fashion emergency and immediately sees potential in you and soon sets you up with her manager to help kick start your modelling career. You build up your 'status' by completing gigs and each gig attracts more fans to your fan-base.

In order to complete gigs you require energy which is regenerated but one lightning every five minutes so it takes at least an hour and a half to have a fully regenerated meter. The most frustrating thing about the game is when you run out of energy in the midst of the game so you have to stagger painfully through the task. When you are addicted to the game like I am you have to set a countdown timer to complete the task in the time slot to achieve desired results.

Depending on your gig performance you gain and lose fans. The most frustrating part of the game is when you start a gig late at night and fall asleep and miss the end of the task and don't fulfill your gaming potential. The fan loss breaks my virtual character's heart. Ray Powers, you are one harsh television/social media star. I'm no train-wreck.  Tabloid trash I say.

I hate it when my avatar looks super depressed. How dare these higher ranked stars inflate their egos and treat  lower ranked stars with disrespect. You wait until I'm number 1, I'll treat them like my shoe-shiners (I'll treat my shoe-shiners better though). My avatars facial expression just screams vengeance.

Willow Pape has got to be my favorite part of the game. She's such a mean girl and expresses that she is more "famous" than you. She's rude and you have to get lippy with her to an extent in order to get fans interested in you. Mouth of to her not to Ray Powers or else you'll be set up as the antagonist and you'll lose fans.
Overall, I really like the game. I play it excessively and have become quite addicted. Well... until a new game comes along and I get hooked on that.
