Review : Guerlain Terracotta 4 Seasons Bronzer - 02 Brunettes

Are you the pale one? How about having a bronzer that works all seasons? This is a very unique concept brought by the house of Guerlain on having a matte bronzer that keeps you glowing and sun kissed all the year long (minus the hazards of the sun with SPF 10). I loved this concept as it gives one a scope to really use this product all year long although its a western concept. Now, for those who do not know, Guerlain is the KING of Bronzers....its their blood, their DNA for makeup. Everything deals with a bronzer in the center stage and how beautiful is that! They indirectly allow you to embrace the Sun...Now there are many many more uses of this fabulous bronzer and I shall tell them subsequently in the post...........
Review : Guerlain Terracotta 4 Seasons Bronzer - 02 BrunettesWhat Sephora has to say? What it is:
A quad of matte bronzing powder tones.

What it does:

This perfect selection of graduated matte tones creates a long-lasting, natural look of radiance at any time of year. This sunkissed palette is perfect for sculpting and highlighting: use the pink or dark shades for your blush and the more neutral or nude shade to unify the rest of your face. Each woman can choose and blend shades to create her ideal color.
What else you need to know:

To enhance the 4 Seasons experience, Guerlain has added four new harmonies of coordinated shades to better accommodate women’s varying complexions. With a total of six shades to boast, Guerlain ensures that all women, fair or dark, can indulge in the pleasure of a Terracotta glow.

PACKAGINGThis lovely Bronzer comes in a terracotta colored cardboard case that securely holds this tortoise shell shaped clam-shell designed bronzer. I love the 'G' monogram over it which shines through an ambered colored hemisphere on the top of the packaging. The case is very sturdy and a bit small for the huge packaging it has. It comes in its deep brown velvet sleeve that adds a touch of luxury and I simply love it. In this case is the Terracotta 4 Seasons bronzer and no brush which is fine with me, since I would use a BIG brush to apply the product. Exclusion of the brush means you have to carry one brush at least while taking this product.

FORMULAThe bronzing powders are matte and very very finely milled, almost to a creamy texture....image a dried up butter and thats how the texture is. There is a subtle talc-like fragrance which reminds us of vintage products and I love that smell a lot. The texture is so fine that one has to be careful of handling the product as there could be chances of over application (especially for fair skinned people). Although the 4 Seasons bronzer comes in various colors and versions, Indian market only has Blondes and Brunettes.
The matte texture makes the bronzer very wearable and undetectable on the face. One can only see a lovely tanned glow on the skin and nothing else. It is quite long wearing as well and does set nicely over a powdered face which I recommend.

SUGGESTED USAGE
-Apply bronzer powder using Guerlain's foolproof "figure 3 method." Start by applying your Terracotta powder by tracing a figure three on each side of the face: from the forehead down towards the cheeks, then down along the jaw line to the chin and down the neck.

-For the finishing touch, take a little more Terracotta powder with your brush and sweep it over the raised areas of the face, the places that catch the sun most—the forehead, nose, cheekbones and chin.
-The result is an instant glow—the perfect application in only seconds.
PRICE n AVAILABILITY
The 4 Seasons Bronzer is available for 4200 INR in selected Guerlain counters and Parcos stores all over the country.
Hope you liked the quick review. I love this bronzer and use it almost everyday.
