My everyday watch is a Cartier Roadster (with a pink face) and I'd been looking to add a weekend watch to my wardrobe so my interest was piqued when I was contacted by Born Pretty to review one of their women's watches. Their selection of watch styles and astonishingly low prices amazed me. Most of the watches are under $10 with none topping $35. I chose a jelly watch in mint. When it arrived, I was pleasantly surprised that the quality of the watch doesn't reflect the $5.99 price tag. It's lightweight and the oversized face and rose gold tone dials along with the rubbery silicon band give the watch both a classic and sporty vibe. I was concerned it might be too big which is a common problem for me with watches cause despite being 5'6" I have crazy small wrists. It's a little loose on the last hole but it fits. The only gripe I have is that the buckle is silver instead of rose gold but that's something I can live with and no one's going to be looking at the underside of my wrist anyway except the hubster maybe. I've been wearing it on and off for 2 weeks and have received quite a number of compliments already. I like this watch enough that I would consider getting it in another color... white perhaps.
With the holidays around the corner, it got me to thinking that a watch would make a terrific gift or stocking stuffer. Born Pretty carries a range of styles for both ladies and men including fashionable bracelet watches and sporty LED watches
I should also mention that they offer free worldwide shipping. And if all that isn't enough, Born Pretty is generously extending a special 10% discount to rolala loves readers on top of their already inexpensive prices with the code ROWENALC10
Do you wear a watch? Do you tend to wear different watches with different outfits?
