Okay so on Revenge Sunday, we were treated to an entire flashback episode.  A huge jump back to 2006.  Back in those days,  Daniel was at Harvard, parted his hair to the side, wore rugby shirts and wanted to be a poet.  6 years ago, Conrad was already sleeping with Amber Valetta, pretending to be fine with Daniel becoming a poet and helping Victoria take down her horrific Mom, Adrienne Barbeau. Jack had just gotten the Amanda, his Dad was still alive and the bar was still in trouble. (I don't know why they care about keeping it so badly...nothing but trouble if you ask me.) We learned how and why Aidan and Amanda are connected and how Takada was involved. Amanda was already on her quest for Revenge, even way back in 2006.   Ashley was somewhat of a call girl and Nolan was gay and firing his current boyfriend. Cut to modern day and Amanda and Aidan are in bed and she seems to actually like and trust him.  Daniel finds Nolan's ex-boyfriend which means trouble is brewing. Next week looks pretty juicy...can't wait.

Joe Manganiello was back again on How I Met Your Mother. Cute how the writers played to his looks, body and butt, can't say I minded at all. This week was the continuation of his battle against Marshall in court.  Also on the table, which one of the gang was the bigger "badass" when they were young. I thought Robin would win the title but Lily took it.  Of course Robin and Barney were acting weird after their major make out session last week.  Barney once again called it off and proclaimed he was no longer going to try to "get" Robin.  WHATEVER.  We know that Robin and Barney end up married and we really want to cut to the chase already.  It's really getting annoying at this point.

On The Voice, Adam and Fitty Cent opened the show with a new song called "My Life".  Adam rules, I could care less about Fitty. Droopy wore a cool leather jacket to cover the droopiness and CeeLo was in a black and silver snakeskinny thing.  Who cares what Adam wears I love him no matter what he wears.  Amanda Brown sang the Adele song "Someone Like You" which is a great overplayed song that I thought I didn't ever need to hear again, but her version was really pretty powerful.  Adam did a good job with that one.  Next up Cody Belew who sang one of my favorites of all time, Queen's "Somebody To Love".  Cody sort of looks like Adam and does remind me in a way of Freddy Mercury. It was a great song, but I'm not sure he did a great job with it. It was hard to tell actually.  The gospel choir overpowered him a bit.  Cody didn't do to much singing.  Shirley Partridge, I mean Terry McDermott performed Blake's song "Win You Over".  Nowhere near as good as Blake.  First time I haven't liked a Terry McDermott performance, maybe he should have tried singing "I Think I Love You" instead.  Half and Half Bow Girl, Melanie Martinez, was next and sang "Too Close". Gotta be honest, I fast forwarded through her entire performance.  I knew I wouldn't like it. Ultra cute Dez Duron sang Justin Bieber's "You Smile, I Smile".  I didn't love it, but Droopy sure did, but I think Dez could just stand there and Droopy'd be happy.  Trevin Hunt sang "The Greatest Love of All" and of course did a great job. He really can't screw anything up at all. The camera man was really right in on Trevin's molars...did he have to get THAT close? Not the greatest shot in the world.  My favorite of the night, Nicholas David's rendition of "What's Going On".  Crazy shades and braids, but best performance of the night in my opinion.  Cassadee Pope, who had a number one song on Itunes last week closed the show with "Are You Happy Now" by Michelle Branch and knocked it out of the park.  She's great too, but I still like Nicholas better.

Adrienne Malouf apologized to Lisa right at the beginning of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills this week.  Lisa didn't apologize to Adrienne though. Oh well at least they can move forward and all go to Ojai to relax from their relaxing lives. Before the big drive, Kim went to Yolanda's house and caught her doing her own laundry in a laundry room with 4 washing machines.  Not sure why she needs 4 machines or if I believe that Yolanda does her own laundry but it was interesting. Brandi's writing a book. Yes another Real Housewives book that some freaks will all go out and buy. I'm bad but not THAT bad!  Kyle let her daughter Alexia drive her new Mazerati home from the DMV after getting her license. What is wrong with her? It took the kid 3 tries before she passed her test, I'd never let her drive me home.  Brandi looked awesome as a blond during her photo shoot but seemed to have some issues with the wrinkles in her thumb. Someone has some pretty low self esteem issues huh? I love Lisa but she really shouldn't wear jeans.  They don't do anything for her butt at all. Uh Oh Kim and Brandi sat across from each other at dinner. You knew someone would be crying...this time, it was Kim.

I posted that I was DVRing the Oprah/Justin Bieber interview and last night I got a moment to watch it.  Okay roll your eyes now...it's fine. You can make fun of me all you want.  If you've been reading my blog for a while, you know I love the boy bands and to be honest. I like Bieber, but I was sort of over him and then...I watched the interview and now, my fever is rising again. As much as I want to be over him, he really seems like a decent kid. He's cute, he doesn't chew with his mouth open, says please and thank you and seems to be really trying to be a good person and use his fame for good whenever possible. Oprah did a good job with the interview although she didn't ask about his droopy draws, and obsession with grabbing his weiner all the time, which I thought she would after seeing him in concert. Other than that, I was satisfied with the interview...although, the Ralph Lauren shopping spree after eating at Oprah's "favorite restaurant" RL (Guess what that stands for) was a bit awkward.
It's finale week at Dancing with the Stars and you know what that means...A finale report from our favorite DWTS correspondent...Ed Ziskind.  Take it away Ed.
It’s the two night Season Finale of Dancing With The Stars – The All Star Season! For the first time in the show’s history, three female stars with their partners are competing for the Mirror Ball Trophy.

It was a redeeming season for Kelly Monaco who won against only five other contestants when the show was a Season One infant. She won’t win the Trophy after netting 59 points on night one of the Finals, but at least she won the heart of her partner Val Chermkovsky – a fact she promised host Brooke Burke she’d reveal tonight (yawn).
Professional Dancer Tony Dovolani was grinning from ear to ear all night long.Who can blame him?His two-time partner and former Bachelor star Melissa Rycroft is abbed-up and dancing like a pro herself. They scored a perfect 60 on a night that included their risky and memorable Contemporary Freestyle that Judge Len Goodman wanted to give an 11.
Olympian Shawn Johnson and her partner Derek Hough were predictably penalized for “breaking hold” in their first dance of the night, playing to the voting public instead of the judges. But Derek knows he’s the one to beat at Freestyle and proved it yet again.Len accurately described it as a medley of Shawn and Derek’s greatest hits.  Judge Carrie Ann Inaba gleefully exclaimed that she had been waiting for that freestyle all season.A perfect score for the Freestyle left them with a combined 57 points.
Will the former Bachelor star beat an Olympic Gold Medalist in the Finals? We’ll find out tonight!
News & Information:
*More insanity over on the set of Two and a Half Men.  This time though it's not Charlie Sheen, Chuck Lorre, or even Ashton Kutscher...this time, it's Angus Jones who's biting the hand that feeds him.  Angus, the youngest member of the cast, has apparently found god and a guy named Forerunner to follow. I sat through both of his YouTube videos yesterday (as a service to all of you guys) and saw him tell people NOT to watch his show.  He doesn't want to be on the show and thinks it's filthy. He did say that he was torn prior to the start of the season as to whether or not to continue, but I'm guessing that 300K a week helped him decide.  The kid may have found God but I'm sure God would agree to stick around for 8.5 million bucks too.
*Some more holiday shopping data:
  • Thanksgiving Day 2012 saw a 17.4% increase in online sales
  • Black Friday 2012 witnessed a 20.7% growth, when compared to last year,
  • Mobile devices accounted for over 16% of those sales, up from 9.8% in 2011.
  • Overall, 24% of online consumers used a mobile device to visit a retailer's site, up from 14.3% in 2011.
  •  iPad generated more traffic than any other tablet or smartphone, as it was used in nearly 10% of all online shopping. In comparison, the iPhone accounted for 8.7% of online shopping, while Android devices represented 5.5%
*The top five US web properties in October 2012 were Google (189.7 million unique visitors), Yahoo (169.7 million), Microsoft (169.2 million), Facebook.com (149.1 million), and AOL (114.2 million). According comScore
*Last night during Watch What Happens Live, Bravo debuted Play Live, a new interactive TV game for crazy viewers like me to engage and play along with. To participate, viewers have to visit Play Live on their computers, phones, or tablets or download the Bravo Now app, which can then be used to make predictions about what will happen next on the Bravo show they're currently watching as well as answer a variety of polls on different topics. Voting results are then displayed on the TV screen in real time. It's a lot of fun, you guys should try it!
The Blu-ray player number seems high to me, but everything else makes sense here.
