Massu came up with Fernando Gonzalez after the Rios revolution kick-started Chilean tennis. Although Gonzalez was the more accomplished player and a consistent top 10 performer, Massu arguably achieved more by winning the Olympic Gold double! Even more surprising was it was on hard courts. He entered the top 10 in 2004 and had a winning match record and 6 titles.
