REESE RAVES – December

REESE RAVES – December
The Body Shop’s Cranberry Joy Body Butter, $27.95 (200mL) LE
I’ll start this off by saying that due to the holiday season, cranberry was definitely on my radar. Cranberry scents, the fruit itself and even the shade I sported on my eyes throughout the month of December.
Last year, I foolishly didn’t purchase this body butter but I made it my mission this year to make sure that I didn’t miss out again. I started off with one, and then whilst passing The Body Shop in Bondi Junction, I picked up another two to last me through the new year.

OPI’s ‘You’re Such A Budapest’, $19.95
Although this shade isn’t very festive, I have been obsessed with lilac nailpolishes this month. Early in December I went to have my weekly manicure and wore Do You Lilac It?, until I came across this perfect shade. It’s similar to Illamasqua’s ‘Wink’ (which I love but the formula really sucks), except OPI is just a little richer and darker.

Inglot Eyeshadow No. 463, $10 (single)
I picked up this at the Inglot stand in Bondi Junction, whilst visiting one of my favorite MUAs, Amy. All I wear on my lids are matte neutrals and seeing as though ’tis season to be jolly, I decided to amp up my makeup just a little bit.
This shade gives you equal pigment and glitter. It’s not really a shimmer or a frost, which works well without looking overdone. I just apply this on the middle of my lids to give my look some dimension and sparkle.

Dr. Hauschka Lip Balm, $24.95 (4.2g)
OK, this was the biggest splurge I’ve made on lip balm this month and I have absolutely no regrets. It’s just a beautiful, soft, non-sticky and hydrating lip balm which smells amazing! It takes a little bit of time to warm the product on your finger, but I promise your lips will love you by the morning.

Lime Crime Velvetines in ‘Pink Velvet’ $24.00 (NEW!)
No words can summerise my excitement when I was told this was being released before the end of 2013. I waiting patiently for weeks and when one of the first online stores announced you could pre-order them, I made sure I secured myself one. All I can say about this product is that it is simply perfection. I just love it.
You can now purchase Pink Velvet, along with the other Velvetines from LipstickRepublic.com.au and if you drop RepublicVIBs at the checkout, you get 10% off your total purchase.

Kiehl’s Cranberry Lip Balm, $12 (15mL)
Lastly, in keeping with the cranberry theme of the month, I had to buy this at a pit stop through Kiehl’s QVB. Smells sweet without being overbearing and gives you the right shine over lipsticks if you don’t want to use gloss.

REESE RAVES – December

Also this month, I’ve been obsessed with this woman’s voice. If you don’t follow me on Twitter you would have missed my barrage of tweets raving about how amazing she is, including videos, which I highly recommend you all check out!
