REESE RAVES – April

By Reeseatomic @reeseatomic

April is always one of my favorite months of the year. Mainly because it starts to cool down and the warm knits come out.

Here are my favourites for this month…

REESE RAVES – April

Butter London’s ‘Chancer’
bitch

OPI’s ‘Lincoln Park After Dark’
Earlier in the month I started to obsess about plums and deep purples and this polish was the first that came to my mind. This is my favorite Autumn/Winter shade. If you haven’t seen this up close, it’s not black although it does look like it in the bottle. When it hits the light it has a very rich red wine/purple shade to it. So beautiful on.

Model Co.’s Blush in ‘Peach Bellini’
I mentioned this in my 5 Things I Loved This Week this month. Although it’s a Summer shade, I like that it gives my skin a pretty flushed look and brought dimension and color to my face. I love it!

Lush’s Lemony Flutter
The down side to the colder seasons is that my nails, skin and hair really struggle. Especially when I have to wake up early in the morning to get to work when the sun hasn’t even started rising yet. Combine this with having to always having to wash your hands with hospital grade hand sanitiser my paws always get into a bad state.
For my hands I’ve relied on constantly reapplying Lemony Flutter and hand cream to make sure skin doesn’t dry out and so far I haven’t had any issues with it. Lemony Flutter is my, hands down, holy grail product for cuticles and draw patches of skin (elbows and heels).

Coconut Oil (not pictured)
Don’t even get me started about coconut oil. I’ve raved about it in a post earlier this month. It’s one of those products where you try it for the first time, find out it’s amazing and ask yourself where has it been all your life. Honestly, I don’t know how I was even able to function without this.
I’ve started on the product and have got it bad for it. I cook with it. Remove my makeup with it. I’ve put it through my hair and massaged it into my scalp. I’ve put it on my salads. I’ve shaved my legs with it. IT IS AMAZING! You’ve just got to get some of this in your life.
Just make it’s extra virgin coconut oil, organic and wherever available fair trade too.
