Prom season is just around the corner! Are you ready for the big night; a night that is sure to be exciting and full of great friends and memories? In order to get yourself ready for the big party, follow these simple and fun tips sure to help you pull off the night of your life!

1. The dress

We all know that the dress is probably the biggest decision you will make with regard to prom (other than who you’d like to go with as your date, of course!) Your dress will make a statement about you so what do you want your dress to say? Are you looking for a contemporary look? Are you more drawn to old fashioned styles? How about retro or vintage? Or perhaps you want to go very eye catching and wear something different altogether. Pants? A tux? A Goth inspired dress in black? It is up to you! Only you know which dress will be “the one” once you try it on. Make sure it is not too uncomfortable. You want to dance and hang out for hours and still enjoy yourself! Pick shoes you can actually walk in or plan on kicking them off to the side after a couple hours.

2. Hair and makeup

Experiment beforehand with a friend to make sure you like the way your hair looks for the big night. Try something different and wow the crowd! Using lots of inexpensive hairspray really will hold your hair in place for many hours. Try picking a fresh flower for behind your ear if you like or add a sparkly clip.

3. Transportation

4. Dinner?

Do you have a curfew and if so, does it mesh with the others?
