THE SHOWS

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills
It's pretty much standard operating procedure at this point: Throw a dinner party…fight with guests. Yolanda Facetimed us all to show us how crappy she looked and felt to prove she just couldn't get out of that bed or that robe and get to Erica's place for the battle of the day. Kyle was asking the 4 questions at her Passover Seder and also couldn't make. Too bad really, Erica hired a huge staff to cater a dinner for just 6 people. Betting that little shindig was at least 5G's if you include the flowers and tips. Lisa Rinna and our lovely host both went with a leopard print which was a bit awkward. The Jiggy-LESS Vanderpumps showed up in their Bentley but had to split early and hit another event which meant Lisa had to strike fast and go. It was really Kathryn who was the sh*tstirrer of the week. I really can't stand her. She makes no sense whatsoever and takes no responsibility at all for anything that comes out of her mouth. I'd say she can't hear herself but she does have ONE good ear. Why'd they even pick her to come on the show? Did we need her? Why would Mauricio have the housewives represent his business during Habitat for Humanity and not his real staff? Wasn't that sort of strange? Also strange…Harry Hamlin is never around. If he's ALWAYS working, when will we see him in something? Do we believe that Kyle plays Pickle Ball when the cameras aren't on? I will say that I do think that Lisa Rinna's theory on Yolanda's illness is right on the money. I've been saying that there's a mental component to her situation all along. Add a psychiatrist to the staff Yo.

Style Code Live

And the award for game changer of the week...Amazon!  How would I describe Style Code Live? Let's see. It's a live, fast paced, TV show completely targeting and informing Millenial women (at least last nights episode was targeting women) on fashion and beauty trends with every product available for purchase immediately. As our hosts and guests are talking, the products they are discussing are added to the style carousel at the bottom of the screen. It feels like a TV show not QVC but that's really what it is a QVC for the young hip Millenial. It feels "cool" and fun. If you've ever met me, you'd know I'm not into fashion or make-up or anything in the entire category and yet there were a few things I wanted to purchase and probably will. Frankie Grande is one of the 3 hosts. He's dialed himself down a bit from his YouTube channel and Big Brother but he's great. Not sure who the other 2 young hosts are but they're very good. Kudos to Jeff Bezos and Amazon. Lets see who's the first to copy this new format. It's brilliant.

Married at First Sight

Well, for me, having couples end up as "just friends" is a failure. Since I've been watching Married at First Sight none of the couples have stayed married. I didn't see Season 1 so the 2 couples that are still together from that season mean nothing to me. Sam and Neil have come a long way. Glad to see they're friends now. Ashley's a b*tch and still didn't own up to much. I don't think Dr. Pepper pushed hard enough on her. David's still that puppy dog happy guy and I'm sure Mrs. Norton is out there somewhere. Hope they let us know when and where he finds her. TOTALLY bummed that Trey and Vanessa broke up. They seemed super awkward together which is sad. Not sure I'll be back for a 4th season. I have to think on it a bit.
THE OTHER STUFF

-We already knew that Ginger Zee from GMA and Jodie Sweetin from Full House AND Fuller House would be competing on Dancing with the Stars but yesterday the REST of the "stars" of the new season were finally revealed. I have no idea how Trump managed to do it, but the timing for his ex-wife, Marla Maples to compete on the show just couldn't have been any more perfect could it? In addition to Trumps 2nd wife,  Tootie from Facts of Life, Marissa Cooper from the OC, Geraldo Rivera from a gagillion horrible talk shows and empty treasure chest specials, an America's Top Model winner, an MMA chick, Wayne Morris from Boyz 2 Men and 3 NFL dudes will all be competing for the Mirror Ball Trophy in a couple of a weeks. Still not watching it even though the Marla Maples thing could get interesting.
-We haven't finished the Netflix mini-series, Cooked yet, but we loved their other food series, called Chef's Table. Yesterday Netflix gave us some gooooood news because for the most part all Neflix does these days is deliver joy to our homes on a daily basis. Chef's Table's been renewed for 3 more seasons. The newest one will begin again on 5/27
- I hated Into the Badlands but AMC renewed it anyway.
-I haven't even seen 60 Days In yet but A&E has already renewed it for a 2nd Season. The show starts tomorrow. It follows 8 people as they enter jail in Indiana. You know we all have an obsession with prison shows. Oz, Prison Break, Orange is the New Black and of course one of my have movies of all time, Shawshank Redemption. I'm so in on this one.

-HBO is planning on increasing its original programming slate by 50 percent. Let's hope SOME of the new shows, are watchable. Other than Game of Thrones, I'm not watching much at all anymore on HBO.

-MTV Movie Award nominees were announced yesterday. Avengers, Creed, Deadpool, Jurassic World, Star Wars and Straight Outta Compton were all nominated for Movie of the Year and I'm betting that many of us have actually seen at least a few of these. I'm rooting for Straight Outta Compton but I'd be fine with Star Wars, Creed or Deadpool. The Rock and Kevin Hart are hosting the show on 4/10.

Wednesday's Trivia Question: Wilmer Valderrama's joining Grey's Anatomy. Name the TV show he starred in previously and his characters name.
