Readers’ Workouts — December 11

In case you missed it, I wrote a piece that appeared on Huffington Post this weekend that may interest this group, A Librarian’s Tips for Healthy Holiday Parties.

I’m on track to meet my goal of doing the 30 Day Shred by Jillian Michaels 15 times in December. But I’m quite far behind on my goal to exercise for 1400 minutes this month. It’s hard to find the time in a busy month!

For the last few months, I could count on a few long days of yard work to boost my minutes, but it’s turned cold here so I don’t think that’s going to happen. I’ll have to find something else. I think maybe watching Doctor Who Christmas specials while walking on the treadmill would work.

Maybe I need to go look at a few books for tips on how to keep up your exercise during the holiday season.
