Is it hump day already ??? Can't believe how fast Monday came and Tuesday went by. However, I am determined to make the most of this day and hence I'm sharing some random things and thoughts happening things around me....
1) When it comes to mixing different textures, I don't think too much. If I like it, I'll just wear it, coz why not " I AM THE BOSS ! " ? -wink wink ! For instance mixing velvet with leather in this look today. Two different, striking fabrics: I love em together.
2) This might not be random, but you all might know of my fetish for statement necklaces. So when Bauble Bar and Target collaborated to curate a fall collection, named SUGARFIX, I knew where I was heading to in my next shopping trip. Thanks to @sugarfix for sending me the necklace and a few other baubles for reviewing before anyone else got their hands on them.

3) This morning I had a chance to stop by the The Atlantic, Washington Ideas convention and it was so enlightening. Hearing the stories of the CEO of The Boeing co., Soulcycle and many more, straight from maestros mouth was so inspiring. Also chit-chatting with the masterminds behind &Pizza and Misfit juicery, both local to DC was another awe-inspiring moment.
4) I recently ordered these boots, they look great, however the shaft fits slouchy on me. What do you think: are they a keeper ??
5) Of late, I have been making a lot of one pot, bowl dishes for dinner. They are quick, healthy and delish. Last night I tried this vegetarian ramen/pho recipe and it turned out amazing and family loved it too. Proof: 'no leftovers' !
6) If you have a kindergartner/first grader, you need try out this app. Ribhya has been using it a lot both at school and at home and her academic development has been quite noticeable. I found it worthy of sharing here.
7) My DSLR has been acting up a lot lately. It just freezes, won't click, won't do nothing. I would consider buying a new one, if someone could help me trade in the old, but before it completely becomes dysfunctional. Any suggestions/recommendations?
8) I have an Indian wedding coming up and I have no clue "what the hell am I wearing ???" Indian weddings are nothing short of lavish and last a couple days, at least. Reaching out to all my Indian friends to share the Indian fashion trends they are loving lately......
