Everyone was optimistic that tomorrow will mark the start of Ramadhan but the new moon wasn’t sighted tonight which means there will be no suhoor or midnight meal happening later. In shaa Allah, Ramadhan will start on Wednesday, 10th of July 2013.
By the way, there was a sandstorm this afternoon in Al-Kharj and Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. We got lost in the dust. But we’re fine alhamdulillah. Inhaling dust once in a while became part of the norm but still have to get use to it. Sneezing here and there though 😊.
To all Muslims around the globe, far and away, a blessed month of Ramadhan to all of us. May this month increase our eeman and may our ibadah be manifested in our being not just on Ramadhan but all year round. May our fasts and duas be accepted. Ameen Ya Rabb.
