Raja Pervez Ashraf’s Nomination Papers Rejected

Raja Pervez AshrafThe nomination papers of former Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf have been rejected for NA-51 Rawalpindi constituency.

The Returning Officer rejected his candidacy over the objections of misappropriating funds and indulging in nepotism.

The Pakistan People Party leader, who was appointed as prime minister after Supreme Court disqualified Yousuf Raza Gilani for his failure to write letter to Swiss authorities to reopen graft cases against President Asif Ali Zardari, had submitted nomination papers from NA-51 consistency of Gojar Khan.
