The Coors Banquet Kick-Off Party is included as an added value part of the full event ticket and gates will open to Canada’s largest country music festival on Thursday, July 31st at the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park in Bowmanville, Ontario. As the official beer partner, Coors Banquet will be on-site all weekend, with additional partner offerings including Coors Light.

“Fans have been asking for months about what our plans are for Thursday night and we couldn’t be more excited to have Coors Banquet partnering with us in taking our kickoff party to the next level,” said Shannon McNevan, Executive Director, Republic Live. “To be able to have Dallas Smith headline the party straight off his American tour with Florida Georgia Line and smash success with “Tippin’ Point” along with recent Juno award winner and flourishing Canadian star Brett Kissel, it’s going to be one heck of a party and set the tone for the whole weekend. We are also excited to bring Natalie Stovall and the Drive to Canada as their live show is like nothing we’ve ever seen before and we’re so proud of our 2013 Emerging Artist Showcase winners, The Reklaws, whose new single will be dropping in a big way between now and Boots.”

“Since Coors Banquet arrived north of the border in August of last year, we’ve been one of the fastest growing beer brands in Canada. This is a great opportunity for us to partner with one of Canada’s’ top country music events to create an experience and thank our fans for all of their support,” said Sara Ross, Assistant Marketing Manager, Coors Banquet.

About Coors Banquet

Coors Banquet was the first beer recipe created by Adolph Coors in 1873. Until 1991 it was only available in the Western United States, prompting a cult following with presidents, movie stars and consumers who had to bring the beer home from Colorado. The legend of the Banquet name goes back to the late 1800s, when thirsty miners threw celebratory banquets with Coors as the honorary beer because of its superior craftsmanship. It is imported from Golden, Colorado and is currently available in cans and draft at select retailers, bars, and restaurants.

About Dallas Smith
Hailing from British Columbia, Smith is Canadian country’s hottest newcomer bringing a healthy dose of rock and roll power to his brand of lively country music. Producer Joey Moi captured Smith’s unique energy and unmistakable vocals on his breakout Canadian country debut, JUMPED RIGHT IN, which netted a JUNO Award nomination for Country Album of the Year and five 2013 CCMA award nominations. Named one of the Top 10 artists to watch in 2014 by Taste Of Country Magazine, the CMW Radio Awards winner once again teamed up with Joey Moi for his U.S. country debut on Big Loud Mountain. With energetic live shows and compelling tunes, it’s no surprise that Dallas, who fronted the multi-platinum international rock band Default, has been tapped to open for music legend Bob Seger and most recently shared the stage with Florida Georgia Line during their SOLD OUT ‘Here’s To The Good Times Tour’.

Produced by Joey Moi (Florida Georgia Line, Jake Owen) and written by FGL’s Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard along with Jaren Johnston, “Tippin Point” is Smith’s second GOLD single – setting the record as the fastest Canadian country single to be certified GOLD. An infectious party anthem, “Tippin’ Point” serves as the perfect prelude for what is to come from Smith on his forthcoming full-length album.

About Brett Kissel
When you come from a place called Flat Lake, Alberta, it’s pretty tough to get noticed. For Brett Kissel, it’s pretty tough to be ignored. Brett released his major label debut album – Started With A Song – late last year, but even before the album’s release, Kissel had already made radio history. With more than 93% of Canadian Country stations adding the title track, the song eclipsed the record for most adds at Canadian Country radio in one week, a record previously held by Taylor Swift. Since the album’s release, Brett has become the talk of Canadian country music. He has seen the video for the debut single reach No. 1 at CMT, he has scored three top 10 radio hits, and he headlined a cross-Canada tour. To top it all off, Brett won his first JUNO Award – becoming the first country artist to be awarded with Breakthrough Artist of the Year in 17 years.

About Natalie Stovall and The Drive
Whether it’s Natalie Stovall’s breathtaking vocals and larger-than-life stage presence, her band’s turbo-charged, take-no prisoners live shows, or the collective unit’s barnstorming worldwide tours, Natalie Stovall and The Drive prove they are arena ready. A humble, charismatic entertainer with a trademark lion’s mane of big blonde hair, Natalie and her powerful vocals and sparkling fiddle leave audiences spellbound. The Drive’s seven–year journey has been forged like fine steel with the durable attributes of family values and hard work. Performing over 200 dates a year, they were named Entertainers of the Year in 2012 by Campus Activities Magazine and returned this Summer from the Middle East on one of their many Navy Entertainment Tours in support of our troops across the globe.

Led by multi-instrumentalist and lead vocalist Natalie Stovall, The Drive includes drummer James Bavendam from Seattle, Chile’s Miguel Cancino on guitar, Zach Morse from Cheyenne, Wyoming on bass and vocals and Redding, California guitarist and vocalist Joel Dormer.

Natalie Stovall and The Drive are realizing their dream each day as they perform for fans around the world and finish up their debut record, set to release in 2014.
