Raf Simons Announced as John Galliano's Successor

You probably remember a few weeks back when the whole of the fashion world were going crazy with the news that Raf Simons was to leave Jil Sander as Creative Director. Speculation was rife with the rumours of his move to Dior where he would succeed John Galliano, who was dismissed last year. Well yesterday was the day we have all been waiting for, Raf was named as the new Artistic Director of Dior - erm, yay!With his professed love of Dior and being famed for his minimalist designs at Jil Sander, I cannot wait to see what he turns out. Raf's first collection at Dior is planned or their Haute Couture show in July. Cant wait.
