A Royal Marine wedding for a home coming bride

One of the joys in capturing a wedding celebration, is in appreciating couples who search out new places in which to celebrate.

Victoria & John seized the initiative by contacting a private home owner who had a beautiful property, close to where Victoria had gone to early school.

A simple letter through the door, asking would it be possible?

It was and it happened!

Their day of enjoying Radipole Manor’s interior and grounds, from preparations through to reception worked brilliantly.

The day was vibrant and forthcoming, the perfect environment for me to capture the documentary wedding photography I love.

It had pace and energy in abundance. Fine details, great location and animated characters.

The weather had changed bringing us showers and high winds in the afternoon. So we worked around things, catching a few moments where we could to capture the portraits we needed.

No chance for a sunset session, but nothing lost in the long scheme of things. The plusses – there were plenty of them, far out weighed anything the weather could throw our way.
