There is a quote from Audrey Hepburn I recently stumbled upon and am excited to share with you –
It’s wonderful I think – here it is:
“Living is like tearing through a museum. Not until later do you really start absorbing what you saw, thinking about it, looking it up in a book, and remembering – because you can’t take it all in at once.”
This quote made so much sense to me – I’ve been through museums to fast – or didn’t have enough time to see them all and I’ve done some of the same in life sometimes– not able to take of if it in at the time –
So what do you do – or what do I do?
Photos – are we taking enough pictures of the important events and people in our lives? And if so do we look at them often enough?
Reflection – one of the reasons for a monthly goal review session is to look back and forth at our lives – can we reflect more each day, week, month and year?
Are we committed to slowing down enough to see more, do more and enjoy more?
Dates – with those you love, enjoy and who are important to you. We sometimes don’t put things on our calendars and our relationships rush right by – Who can you schedule time with today?
These are good questions to ask ourselves – when we find ourselves in the next museum or when we find ourselves surrounded, involved and totally living our lives.
Remember – you create your day by the way you think. Make it magnificent!
Blessings, Shawna
