Queen of Swaps!

All of you are awesome. Every morning, I write something about myself and I’m pretty insecure about it. Then you all overwhelm me with nice comments, good advice and wonderful ideas I’d never think of.

You all inspire me! Like, crazy inspired right now.

It’s a good thing it’s lunchtime because with all this bright pink inspiration flying around my computer I couldn’t not make an uuber healthy lunch!

It definitely could have been unhealthy. But I took a quick 15 minute break to run by my house and get a few things.

It was tri-tip smokin’ day so tri-tip sandwiches were on the menu.

I breezed home and picked up 2 slices of sprouted grain bread. Swapped out the white french roll and got a bunch of protein and whole grains. Complex Carbs!!

I picked up a quick little spinach, cranberry, and egg salad with dijon mustard dressing. Swapped out the chips and got 2 whole servings of leafy greens. SCORE.

Then I decided to step up my dark chocolate fix with some attune probiotic dark chocolate. Dark chocolate with added health factor??? YES PLEASE!

Some Gingerade Kombucha to drink. Swapped out soda for some more natural probiotic foods.

Voila. One very healthified lunch.

My high maintenance digestive system is definitely all out of whack from vacation. I’ll definitely take any probiotic I can get.

I already take 2 servings of probiotics in pill form. They’re just part of my daily healthy guidelines. 1 serving in the morning usually after breakfast and 1 serving at night right before bed. Probiotics really help keep my sensitive digestive system happy. happy. happy.


this afternoon is going to be 9 ways of nuts!

  • 2:55 get off work
  • 3:10-4:10 gym (50 minutes elliptical or bust!)
  • 4:10-5:00 showering and getting ready
  • 5:00-5:30 drive to Monterey
  • 5:30-6:30 summer league basketball game
  • 6:30-8:00 Grandma’s Birthday Dinner at the LaLa Lounge.
