Although its not brand new recorded music, Quasimoto has dropped a new LP comprised of 12 tracks recorded over a roughly 12-year period. A few of the tracks were released, while the others are previously recorded unreleased tracks now mastered for the first time. For those unfamiliar with Quasi, he is the alter ego of MC/producer Madlib – represented by an illustrated character (pictured above). Through the years, Quasi has managed to build quite the following and has gotten recognition through not only music, but merchandise, an Internet meme, toys, and even tattoos. This new album is calles Yessir Whatever and its available digitally now, vinyl and CD June 18 via Stones Throw. Listen to “Planned Attack” off the album below.
